• Connect the SAESHIN Traus handpiece to the compatible dental unit or micromotor system. Ensure the connection between the handpiece and hose/motor is secure.
• Verify that the handpiece is firmly attached and all connections are tight to prevent air leakage or malfunction.
• Adjust the speed or power level using the dental unit control panel or the Traus controller according to the recommended operating range.
• Press or rotate the chuck mechanism (depending on the model) to open the bur holder.
• Insert the appropriate FG or HP bur fully into the chuck until it is seated properly.
• Release or tighten the chuck mechanism to lock the bur securely in place. Ensure the bur is stable before use.
Start the handpiece using the foot pedal or control switch on the dental unit or controller.
• Modify the speed settings through the dental unit or Traus control unit as required for the procedure.
• Hold the handpiece in the correct working position and apply light, controlled pressure to the treatment area for safe and effective performance.
• Turn off the handpiece, allow it to stop completely, then open the chuck to remove the bur.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain the handpiece according to the manufacturer’s guidelines after each use.
