1. Installation Requirements
• Before installing the furnace, ensure the following conditions are met:
• Place the furnace in a dry, dust-free environment.
• Do not allow inflammable or combustible gases and liquids in the installation area.
• Keep all combustible materials away from the furnace.
• Maintain a minimum clearance of 50 mm around the furnace to allow proper ventilation and cooling.
2. Safety Precautions
• To ensure safe operation:
• Ensure the supporting surface is strong enough to bear the weight of the furnace.
• When moving the furnace:
• Maximum safe load per person: 30 kg
• At least two people must lift or move the furnace to prevent strain or back injury.
• Ensure air vents remain unobstructed at all times to prevent overheating.
3. Electrical Connection
• Follow these electrical requirements before operating the furnace:
• The sintering oven must be connected to a dedicated electrical circuit.
• The building’s electrical circuit must include a suitable circuit breaker.
• Install an additional residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB) with a 30 mA tripping current.
• Ensure the protective earth conductor is properly connected to the power socket.
• The furnace is supplied with a 2.0 m mains cable:
• Do not use extension cables.
• Confirm that the power supply voltage is between 200 – 240 V before connecting.
4. Switching On the Furnace
• To start the furnace:
• Connect the furnace to the power supply.
• Turn on the main power switch.
• Check that the mains indicator lamp illuminates.
• After approximately 3 seconds, the current furnace temperature will appear on the display.
5. Initial Commissioning
• Follow these steps before running the first sintering cycle:
• Press the door opener button to open the furnace door.
• The electronic lock allows opening only when the temperature is below 300°C.
• Place the supporting stone inside the furnace.
• Fill the standard sintering dish with the zirconia items to be sintered.
• Using tongs, place the sintering dish onto the support pins inside the furnace.
• Close the furnace door securely.
• Start the firing cycle by pressing the Start/Stop button.
6. Programming the Heating Phases
• To configure a sintering program:
• Press the Right-hand arrow button until the LED under the “Prog.” display lights up.
• Select a program number (1 – 9) using the arrow buttons.
• Set the heating parameters for each phase:
• Heating speed
• Target temperature
• Holding time
• To save the program:
• Press and hold the Programming button until the LED under the function display lights permanently.
7. Automatic Program Start (Timer Mode)
• The furnace allows automated operation using the timer function.
• Select the desired sintering program.
• Activate the integrated timer.
• Set the day and time when the program should finish.
• The furnace will automatically start the heating cycle at the calculated time to complete the program as scheduled.
8. Important Operating Notes
• Always use tongs when handling hot components.
• Do not open the furnace when the temperature is above 300°C.
• Ensure air vents remain unobstructed during operation.
• Allow the furnace to cool completely before performing maintenance or cleaning.
