Unboxing and Setup
• Carefully unpack the Weshining EPC-30 Plasma Polishing Machine and all accessories.
• Place the machine on a stable, level surface with proper ventilation.
• Remove all protective packaging materials from the machine and tank.
• Connect the power cable and cooling/water system if required.
• Turn ON the main power switch on the control panel.
Prepare the Electrolyte Tank
• Open the polishing tank of the machine.
• Fill the tank with the recommended electrolyte solution up to the indicated level.
• Ensure the electrodes and tank interior are clean before starting.
Prepare the Workpiece
• Clean the metal parts to remove oil, grease, and dust.
• Perform basic pre-polishing or grinding if the surface is very rough.
• Make sure the parts are dry and free from contaminants.
Mount the Workpiece
• Fix the metal parts securely on the workpiece holder or jig.
• Ensure the parts do not touch each other during polishing.
• Lower the holder carefully into the electrolyte tank.
Set Polishing Parameters
• On the control panel, adjust the required settings such as:
• Polishing time
• Voltage/current
• Temperature (if applicable)
• Confirm all parameters before starting the process.
Start the Plasma Polishing Process
• Press the START button on the control panel.
• The machine will begin generating plasma around the metal surface.
• Typical polishing cycle takes about 5–12 minutes, depending on the material and surface condition.
Remove and Rinse the Parts
• After the cycle is complete, turn OFF the polishing current.
• Lift the holder from the tank.
• Rinse the polished parts with clean water to remove electrolyte residue.
• Dry the parts using compressed air or a clean cloth.
Post-Processing
• Inspect the surface finish of the parts.
• If required, repeat the polishing cycle for a smoother mirror finish.
Cleanup and Maintenance
• Turn OFF the machine power after use.
• Clean the tank, holder, and electrodes.
• Check the electrolyte level and condition regularly.
• Replace or refresh the electrolyte when necessary.
• Store the machine in a dry and clean environment.
Safety Precautions
• Wear gloves, goggles, and protective clothing during operation.
• Do not touch electrodes or electrolyte while the machine is running.
• Ensure proper ventilation in the working area.
• Only use the recommended electrolyte solution for the machine.
